The closure of the Ozark pipeline comes after outages at HollyFrontier’s (HFC) 125,000 b/d Tulsa refinery and the southern portion of Tallgrass Energy’s (TGE) 400,000 b/d Pony Express crude pipeline because of inclement weather conditions affecting the US Midwest. The weather is causing volatility in cash markets for both crude oil and refined products, according to reports.

It was not immediately clear whether the Ozark line has been damaged by flood water. MPLX did not respond to media requests for comments.
